Hoppsan looked to have a fair chance in the 4.30 at Dundalk yesterday so the result should be monitored. Cairdiuil has won twice over the course and distance when there has been plenty of give in the ground and wasn't suited by dropping down to 7f last time. Princess Aloof beat Laviniad narrowly at Tipperary but the latter, though still a maiden, should take her revenge on these terms. XSQUARED has been in tremendous form over hurdles and hopefully can transfer his progress to the Flat as he's on a very lenient mark and has enough pace for the trip. He just gets the nod over the lightly-raced and improving Moonmeister, who has won two of his last three including at Dundalk last time under Pat Smullen.
