In depth

Verdict

Vivat Rex makes his belated debut wearing blinkers, which is never a good sign, though this isn't the strongest of maidens. Asbury Boss looked as though a longer trip would suit when runner-up over 1m5f at Ballinrobe while Comedy Club appeared to find 1m2f too short at Sligo. Neverushacon caught the eye on his debut though could probably do with further, a remark that also applies to Wrap Star, who was staying on strongly over 1m6f at Killarney last time. CROI NA FEILE wasn't given much of a chance against the long odds-on Mr Rock at Wexford but ran well after missing the break. She'll have come on a bundle for the run and is taken to go one better.
