Verdict

Only one joint-favourite has won this in twelve years. MALINKA (NAP) is likely to be at the head of the market after her very impressive victory on heavy ground at Leopardstown. She should be even better on quicker ground and with much more in the tank a mark of 76 looks lenient so she's handed the vote. Beau Satchel won this a year ago from a 3lb higher mark and has been running well enough to get into the frame again while Bainne probably wasn't suited by very testing ground at Roscommon. Could Should Would hasn't won since scoring over the course and distance in 2014 but has been running well in similar company while Beat The Ballot looked back to something like his best when runner-up to Mr Right at Naas.
