Verdict

Dermot Weld has won this an astonishing 13 times in the past 17 years and Jayed Jidan will be at very short odds to maintain the sequence. A close fourth to Indian Icon, who runs in the previous race, on his debut at Roscommon, he improved with a cracking effort in a much better race at the Curragh and looks capable of going on to much bigger things. There's no obvious danger though Passagere did a bit better at Wexford on Sunday and Truly Delightful showed hints of ability in her first season.
