Five of these ran in the Plate on Wednesday. Livelovelaugh ran very well in sixth with stable companion Blazer a place behind but The Storyteller jumped poorly and was soon pulled up. The latter is very much better than that and may come out best this time. However, his stablemate MENGLI KHAN made a successful debut over fences in 2018 and looked set for a fine career, especially after some very strong performances at Grade 1 level that season. He became disappointing and reverted to hurdles, scoring at Kilbeggan three weeks ago, and may have his confidence back.
