Valid Reason and Westerly have both been winning on the all-weather while Astral Weeks found only one too good on his handicap bow at Chelmsford. Pontefract winner Thunder Pass should improve further this year but will need to off his current mark and Frederic Chopin is another who could go well on his reappearance. GAVLAR found the 1m3f at Windsor short enough on his comeback but still ran well for fourth and he gets the nod with better expected over today's longer distance.
