Verdict

TIMOCRACY is selected to land this handicap ahead of the likes of Pediment and Flying Applause. The selection looked to be unsuited by a tactically run event at Folkestone last time out but the likelihood of a much stronger run contest here makes him an appealing betting proposition. Pediment has been dropped 2lb for her fourth at Kempton last time. She showed signs of thinking about the job on hand there and that is a major concern. Flying Appluase and Drum Major are other contenders of note. Flying Applause cut out much of the early running last time out but faded badly in the closing stages while Drum Major if attracting market support would be of some interest but Timocracy is selected to win it.
