        Verdict

        Most do not arrive in the best of form but that's not so with VALENCHA and the Morrison filly can defy joint topweight and notch a second success this season. Effective over today's trip, she scored over C&D on soft ground in June and has maintained an upward curve since in better class handicap company. She's down a level here and a repeat of her fine runner-up effort behind Electra Star at Ascot eight days ago would suffice. Galatian is consistent too, has won here on soft ground in the past and posted his sole success this term at this trip. Tariq Too looks interesting as recent form figures are somewhat misleading. Not beaten at all far the last twice when favourite both times, he's open to improvement for the in-form Simcock team.
