Verdict

A trappy maiden gets proceedings underway and as usual in these events the market will be very informative but the principals look to be First Trim, Sam's Cross and Shabiba and the narrow vote is given to Sam's Cross. The selection was a fair second on his debut behind the highly regarded Naomh Geileis. He looks sure to have learnt from the experience and with this in mind he looks the one to be on. First Trim rates the main danger on his latest third behind Crysanty However he has already given the impression he would be suited by a longer trip and he is taken on with this in mind. Shabiba is another that could go well as she is a well bred filly by Seeking The Gold. Her yard are capable of readying a debutante and she should be watched in the market. Of the others Paco Boy was a fair third behind Lodi on his debut and is another that is sure to improve but for the winner we are happy to return to Sam's Cross.
