Verdict

Phone In gets the confident vote in the opener with Mr Fiertag and Warrior Drive rating the main dangers. The selection has improved with each run to date so far and a reproduction of his latest second behind Pigeon Island sets a fair standard. He looks sure to be suited by the step-up in trip and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Mr Fiertag rates the main danger based on his effort behind Night Klub in a point-to-point but the suspicion is he may just need the run after a 707-day break. Warrior Drive was second behind War Of The World in a point last time and is another with place claims but the drop in trip has to be a worry. Of the remainder, Cave of The Giant has had plenty of chances and is becoming expensive to follow while Hathaal has won at up to 12 furlongs on the flat and he could go well at a price but his best efforts have come with more cut in the ground and for the winner we return to Phone In.
