In depth

Verdict

Cape Stormer is in fine form and he can win again here at the main expense of Once A Brownie and Moonlit Harbour. The selection scored impressively last time and although he has a penalty for that success, he looks to be improving and the manner of his most recent success would suggest that he can defy the hike in the weights. He loves fast ground so he has his optium conditions and he looks a solid bet. Once A Brownie was returning from a break at Newton Abbott last time so that run can be forgiven. He has won on good ground but he looks better with a bit of cut and we will take him on. Moonlit Harbour ran well here last time and a reproduction of that effort would make him competitive. Evan Williams sends Sky Warrior to post for this and he is another with claims on his best form. However, we will stick with Cape Stormer who can maintain his winning streak.
