Verdict

This has produced some real shocks in recent years including a year ago when 22/1 chance Brett Vale was a fortunate winner over Epsom Salts, who was stopped in his run when challenging. Pat Phelan's charge is on a 6lb lower mark and has Jemma Marshall claiming her five so looks a threat to all. Sherman McCoy has only run once at this trip and was well beaten by today's rival Dazinski, whose four career victories have all been on fast ground, three of them over today's trip. He's on a fair enough mark and a recent run should give him the advantage over Alsadaa, absent since third in a jumpers' bumper at Kempton in December. The faster the ground the better for SABORIDO, an easy winner over 2m1f at Bath earlier in the month and though he's now on his highest ever mark he has returned to action in fine shape and looks the one to beat.
