GENIUS STEP hasn't raced since finishing third at Newmarket in May but that looked a decent maiden and the Godolphin colt would have got closer had he not met trouble in running - he should be up to winning this and is preferred to stablemate Okimono. Juvenal, placed in his last two starts, is improving with experience and Richard Hannon also runs newcomer Impel, while Shomberg only found Vassaria too good on debut at Hamilton though this is tougher. Shredding may do better over middle-distances next year.
