    Verdict

A disappointing turn out for the finale but connections of Hollow Jo won't be complaining and this looks another good opportunity for the progressive three-year-old while Chico Guapo and Playtime Blue are others of note. The John Jenkins-trained gelding has proved a revelation of late and was completing a four-timer when scoring with something to spare over six furlongs at Windsor on Monday. There should be more to come from this likeable type who possesses plenty of speed so shouldn't be inconvenienced by the drop back to the minimum trip. Chico Guapo has been well placed to win two of his last three starts and is just 2lb higher for his latest success at Thirsk so has to be feared despite conceding weight all round. Playtime Blue has also been placed to advantage with recent wins at Kempton and Windsor but now looks in the handicapper's grip on the evidence of his latest start so Hollow Jo is taken to extend his winning sequence.
