      Verdict

Lake Volta’s recent good form has been over 7f while Tis Marvellous has yet to threaten over today’s trip having won the Shergar Cup Dash over 5f at Ascot last year. GREEN POWER won the Shergar Cup Sprint at the same meeting and was beaten less than a length on his first couple of outings this year before struggling over further in the Victoria Cup. John Gallagher’s charge gets the vote back over his optimum trip today. Puds won over 5f here recently and is upped in class along with Areen Heart and Martineo but Listed winner Enjazaat is capable at this level though hasn’t raced since last summer and has been gelded subsequently.
