Verdict

Kimifive had no luck in-running in the Stewards’ Cup here three weeks ago and won over track and trip in May, though is still 4lb higher. Lake Volta seems to run every week but a return to 7f will suit. Pattie returned to winning ways at Newbury last week and Salute The Soldier is probably overdue a first victory of the campaign after three seconds. Gossiping loves turning tracks but may be in the handicapper’s grip now. Richard Hannon has the top two in the weights but OH THIS IS US looks better treated than Tabarrak. Pat Dobbs’ mount runs in a handicap for the first time since quickening clear at Lingfield in February when 5lb higher. He’s placed in Group 3 and Listed company since.
