AMABILIS went close over 7f at Newmarket on her debut and it was a long way back to the third. Ralph Beckett’s filly may prove good enough in this with normal progress and is preferred to Rhododendron. The latter made a promising start at the Curragh on her introduction and the Ballydoyle filly makes more appeal than Manama, also runner-up on her debut when finding one too good at Newmarket. The Stalking Moon is upped in class after a debut second over 6f Catterick but Helmsdale is a likely improver for the Hannon yard on the back of a modest start at Salisbury. Berengaria, Miss Patience and Argenterie are newcomers to keep an eye on in the betting.
