In depth

Verdict

Always The Lady, who made a promising start over a mile here last September, has her sights lowered after a moderate effort in a Listed contest at Lingfield. Sir Henry Cecil's newcomer Late Telegraph has a superb pedigree being by Montjeu out of a mare from the family of Moonstone and looks sure to attract attention, though DICK DOUGTHYWYLIE will be a tough nut to crack. John Gosden's colt made an impressive racecourse debut behind Eagles Peak at Newmarket last month and should build on that performance.
