Plenty of lightly-raced types with chances here but KALAXANA did really well to chase home the odds-on Broadway at Naas and she deserves a chance to go one better. Timiniya attempted to make all over 1m2f at Clonmel but found the heavy ground against her though she ran on well when headed and, with much quicker ground here, should get into contention. Echo Park also attempted to make all at Navan but didn't find much at the business end while Comeragh Haze ran poorly at Cork after a promising start on heavy going at Leopardstown. Side Effect will have come on for a fair debut run in a big field on that latter track and is one to keep an eye on with Johnny Murtagh's yard going well.
