Verdict

The Sneezer hadn't shown much over fences before running away with a handicap over 2m1f at Fairyhouse last month. It's unlikely he will be allowed such leeway here and a 9lb rise won't help. He had been beaten a long way behind Tullintain at Punchestown previously but easily reversed the form over Robert Tyner's charge, who should do better back over this trip and on testing ground. Tiernan's Terror was also behind Tullintain at Punchestown but made most for a battling success over today's C&D three weeks later. It must have been difficult for the handicapper to give ANOTHER JEWEL a rating as this cross-country chaser hasn't run in a handicap over regulation fences for some time. No doubt he's warming up for another crack at the Cross Country Handicap at Cheltenham but looks on a fair mark and gets the nod.
