In depth

Verdict

Dishdasha is the most interesting horse in the line-up, Sarando isn't far off but we'll stick with BLOCKLEY. Ian Williams runner has been quite well backed on occasions in the past and finally looks like delivering on that promise if his two recent efforts are anything to go by. He beat an unexposed rival at Kempton before following up in good style at Wolverhampton and a further 5lb rise may not be enough to anchor him. Dishdasha was only beaten a head when last partnered by Jamie Spencer on the level and is surely primed to run a big race but this fare may be a little stronger than that Lingfield contest in which he took second. Eureka Moment and Generous Star have been fairly consistent in defeat, Spume has fairly solid claims whilst John Dillon and Sarando would be of interest if the market were to give out the right vibes. The latter is a rare runner at this time of year for Roger Charlton and his record with the few that make it to the track isn't encouraging but his chance has to be respected. He has it to prove though, unlike Blockley who is preferred.
