In depth

Verdict

A wide open finale to solve here where many have claims but the unpenalised Desert Hawk is the tentative choice to land it. Mark Brisbourne's charge had dropped to what looked an attractive mark for his win on Monday although a wide draw is not ideal in this big field. Postmaster has been put back up to a mark in the 50s for finishing fifth last time and while he is invariably in the shakeup, he has visited the racecourse 34 times since his last win. Both Magic Amigo's victories have been achieved in deep ground. Ruwain renews his association with his capable apprentice after they teamed up for a course and distance victory two starts back
