Verdict

RAINBOW SEEKER should score here for Willie Haggas ahead Rowayton and Retro. The selection has the look of a progressive performer after landing back to back victories on his last two outings. The addition of headgear helped when he but in an impressive display at Wolverhampton last time where he brushed aside all challengers in style. Well drawn here there should be even more to come but the step up in class and trip though could be a concern; however with improvement coming with every run not enough to assign the vote elsewhere. Rowayton is another who is really beginning to improve of late and was only just beaten by half a length last time. This is clearly her distance and surface and perhaps could have gone one better in that last race had her challenge been delayed. She is a listed winner on the turf so has more than a good chance and with further improvement again the selection will have his work cut out. Retro for Richard Hannon was a distance winner in a poor contest at Lingfield on his latest run. He won that race with enough in hand to promise he will be competitive here and must be respected but today¿s race represents a big step up in class that might be telling. Joe Castor has turned into something of a consistent performer having been at least placed in every start so far. It's one from one on the polytrack too and there were plenty of signs he'll take another contest on the all-weather. He gives weight to all of his rivals here though, which may prevent him from doing that here. Whatyouwoodwishfor has been close in a couple of weaker contests recently and would have had a real chance had the handicapper not put up is mark by three pounds but this nursery is all about the improving types with Rainbow Seeker likely to be the best of them.
