Verdict

Father Time is an interesting newcomer for Henry Cecil here buts KINGS DESTINY should have his beating with Emirates World also with claims. The selection from the Michael Jarvis yard has improved from each of his two starts thus far and only his tendency to race keenly has stopped him from breaking the duck. There is ability in the colt and the penny may have started to drop towards the end of his last outing at Newbury where the soft ground may not have been completely to his liking. More expected this time and that should lead to a trip to the winner¿s enclosure. The debutant Father Time is closely related to the top-class Passage Of Time and certainly on paper should be better than this class. The Derby is currently the long term goal and how realistic that is remains to be seen but if breeding is anything to go by then a first time victory is not that far fetched. Emirates World came up against unsuitable ground last time when fourth of 13 at Folkstone. The winner and third from that contest have since gone on to score suggesting it wasn¿t a bad race. This is a first attempt on the artificial ground but he should act ok on it and has the ability to worry his rivals. Petrovsky may also have a say in this result after landing a third place on debut in bottomless going at Nottingham. With his half-brother also performing well in testing ground that might be his forte. If there's any money for John Gosdens new comer Windpfeil then take note but otherwise Kings Desting looks to be the one.
