In depth

Verdict

Beaumont Boy is taken to get the better of Denton Hawk and Olgarena. The selection finished in mid-division in a better race than this last time at Beverley and with the step-up in trip likely to see him in a better light today we think he can find the necessary improvement to get his head in front. Denton Hawk was a fair fifth at Wolverhampton last time and he wasn't given a hard time once his chance had gone. He has had a few chances now but this is not a strong race and he has to enter calculations. Olgarena is another that is eased in grade and she clearly did not get home last time so this drop in trip has to be in her favour. Raven Rascal does at least have some winning form and in this weak event he should be good enough to get placed. However, Beaumont Boy remains unexposed and he is taken to score.
