Verdict

ROYAL STRAIGHT stands out on last week's second over C&D. He was only beaten a head by Spavento on that occasion and as this looks slightly easier, Linda Perratt's charge gets the nod. Beautiful Day had been holding his form well before a poor effort at Thirsk last time and has still to prove he can win away from Southwell while Eastward Ho has so far done his winning on the Polytrack. The remainder are badly out of form though Deep Applause is favourably weighted if rediscovering is best.
