Verdict

Last week's Chester winner Jutland could prove the best of Mark Johnston's trio, while Cracking Lass just held off Moyenne Corniche to win at Doncaster last month and that pair are closely matched. Merchant Of Dubai could figure on his first run for Jim Goldie but Red Cadeaux crept up the weights without winning last season and may find at least a couple too good here. Shahwardi is another who finds it difficult to get his head in front and has a bit to find on best form with SAPTAPADI. Brian Elllison's charge goes well fresh, boasts the best piece of form with his third in the Group 3 Geoffrey Freer at Newbury last season and looks capable of taking this on his return to action.
