Verdict

QUEEN'S SCHOLAR gets the nod here ahead of Tribal Myth and High Resolution. Mark Johnston's filly put in her smartest performance to date when third to Glenluji at Musselburgh last time out. She looks capable of winning off her mark of 64 and this very well-related daughter of Street Cry can take top order. Tribal Myth ran well behind Mejd at Beverley and is respected on this track. He has never ventured further north than Redcar but this stiff uphill finish should suit and a bold bid is anticipated once again. Catbells remains capable of better and is handicapped to win a race, High Resolution is consistent but ultimately winless in 15, whilst Wood Fair is creeping down to a fair mark but she hasn't gone on from a fair run behind Avonrose last May. Key Breeze makes a modicum of appeal as he tumbles quickly down the handicap; the market could be useful to his chance as he takes in this weak event. Frontline Phantom is less exposed than most and not ruled out completely, however the nomination is given to Queen's Scholar.
