        Verdict

        Viewforth loves it here and gets the nod ahead of stablemate Dulce Sueno, Compton Classic, and Chairman Bobby. The selection has won here over both five and six furlongs and prefers it on the quick side of good. He is running as well at present as at any time in his career and is due to go up 1lb at the weekend. He can take this and continue a fine season. Dulce Sueno is another Ian Semple inmate and the trainer will have a better idea than any of us as to his merit alongside the selection. However, on the face of it she doesn't look to be on such a favourable mark and may need to drop more before taking her winning turn. Compton Classic beat Viewforth here over 5f last month, but does not act as well over this trip and is also 2lb higher here, while Chairman Bobby retains his limited ability and is capable of winning off this mark, although he doesn't do so too often. The same might be said of our selection Viewforth, but he has probably never been better than now and is taken to prove that.
