In depth

Verdict

SEA OF GREEN won over today’s trip at Newcastle in March and was second over 6f at Ayr recently. Jim Goldie’s charge should go close again in his current form and is preferred to Cheeni. The latter never threatened the winner when runner-up at Ayr last time and has yet to win in 13 attempts but Bronze Beau is not badly treated on his reappearance having won off a higher mark over track and trip last year. Very First Blade also won over course and distance last season but the remainder are harder to fancy.
