The vote here goes to Baffle, with Blue Daze and Night Frolic possibly the ones to chase her home. With Johnny Murtagh booked, Baffle is an obvious contender, John Dunlop's charge having won her maiden here and then maybe found nine furlongs on heavy going too far last time. Today's conditions should suit her better and she looks set to go well. To be fair, it's hard to fully assess a number of her opponents, including Mick Channon's Beauty Of Dreams, who lacks a run this year, but the form of Richard Hannon's Blue Daze's fifth to Cimyla at Sandown last time reads pretty well in the context of this race, although she will need to learn to settle better than she did on that occasion. Night Frolic could be good for some money although, having looked set to benefit from a step up in trip two runs ago, she didn't seem to last home last time, although tonight's ease in the going should suit her. With the bottom five in the list looking to have something to prove, the wheel - in what is not the strongest of handicaps - spins back to the name of Baffle, who looks to hold a good chance.
