Silca Elegance can gain some compensation for a series of near misses and is selected ahead of Swift Princess and Northern Dare. There may also be more to come from Sunoverregun and he is one to bear mind for a place if the odds permit. Northern Dare has shown some real sparkle in his last three starts - winning at Ayr and York in bloodless fashion. He has more on from a revised mark of 74, but is on the right track and can go close if the runs true to form. Swift Princess has done little wrong of late and deserves to take her chance. The fitting of a visor has helped her keep her mind on the job of late and she could easily be the surprise package of the race. However, Silca Elegance has a tough profile and, as she seems to be getting better with every run, she is fancied to gain a much deserved victory if all goes to plan for her on this occasion.
