In depth

Verdict

A small turnout for this early-season nursery but tricky all the same and all seven are respected. Tanseeb boasts the best form hence why the Johnston inmate is asked to concede weight all round and a win is due after three seconds from four starts. However, JIVE improved considerably on three uninspiring maiden efforts when scoring on the Lingfield Polytrack suggesting she's a filly on the upgrade and Richard Hannon has plenty of ammunition to fire at these nursery contests. She gets the nod. Party Ruler has improved with each run and should continue to progress whilst Mitcd looks very interesting off the bottom rung for the strong combination of Fahey and De Sousa, appealing as just the sort to improve for a seventh furlong off a tempting handicap mark.
