      Verdict

      Stewardess has been raised 4lb after getting off the mark in a maiden handicap at Ripon. Laubali’s only win so far came on Tapeta and he failed to cope with a weight rise at Leicester. HAVERLAND was slowly away at Nottingham when returning from a break so can be forgiven that effort. He was running well off this sort of mark in the spring and is still unexposed over this trip so gets the nod ahead of Boudica Bay, the pick of Eric Alston’s two runners on jockey bookings, and Me Before You.
