In depth

Verdict

Dudley Docker did the job well when winning here over c&d last time and from just a 3lb higher mark he looks capable of maintaining what is a good run of recent form to score, while Dressed To Dance and Crocodile Bay can also go well. The selection has won three of his last four starts and although he is mainly campaigned on the all weather, he proved he handles turf well with another win last time. Trip and ground clearly suit and he can follow up. Crocodile Bay has dropped slightly in the weights of late but keeps running well enough in defeat and the handicapper is reluctant to drop him any further, so until he does we will give him the swerve. Dressed To Dance won over this trip on good to soft at Folkestone on his penultimate start but a 4lb rise found him out last time over this trip and just a 1lb drop now sees him with a bit to prove. Distance winner Benny The Bus is not without a chance if reproducing his all weather form on turf, while Lady Aspen and Wahoo Sam look best of the remainder, but Dudley Docker can make it four from five.
