Quedex has shown much improved form recently and gets the vote ahead of Ocean Tide and Euippe. Ocean Tide turned in a good run at Beverley last time, chasing home Clarinch Claymore in what looked to be an above average contest and is on an upward curve. He is respected and so too is Euippe who provided his stable with a rare win when relishing the soft ground over this course last time but might find Quedex a tough nut to crack. This thorough stayer has had his confidence restored after an easy win in a selling hurdle and romped home at Sandown last time, slamming Mr Ed by seven lengths in testing conditions. He had earlier chased home Lucky Judge at Newcastle, and with stamina doubts about some of his rivals, Quedex gets the vote.
