Verdict

This looks a tight handicap but Sue Smith's horses are in good form so a chance is taken with the veteran DE BOITRON. The 11 year old finished runner up in this last year and despite several fine efforts over fences subsequently he arrives here on a 10lb lower mark. New Street scored on the Flat here last year and made a successful debut over timber at Stratford. He probably needed his reappearance at Bangor and is expected to do much better. Long Lunch is a consistent type at this level but does not win often and may still be a few pounds high while Baby King is lacking much experience and has his first start since April. Balmusette landed a Listed contest at Doncaster very easily and though returning from a break with a big weight she is expected to go well.
