In depth

Verdict

Once A Brownie gets the confident vote here over Mister Potter and Pennyforurthoughts. The selection was returning from a break when chasing home Loulou Nivernais at Wetherby last month and he gave the impression on his chasing debut that there would be more to come. He will handle the ground and he certainly sets the benchmark for the rest on his return to the smaller obstacles. Mister Potter finished behind The Sawyer last time over this course and distance but that was respectable form and if he runs up to that level again here then he will not be far away at the finish. Pennyforurthoughts is another who ran respectably last time in Ireland and as she is another that is proven on the ground she is considered. Nictos de Bersy will be suited by the slight drop in trip and could go well at an each-way price, but Once A Brownie has plenty of scope for improvement and gets the vote.
