Verdict

Auspicion has been in sparkling form on the all-weather in recent weeks, winning two from three, but didn’t appear to have much in hand last time at Newcastle, and although La Celebs Ville has an excellent record at this course, she appears held by the handicapper, so in a wide-open race SCOTTISH SUMMIT could be the answer. The lightly-raced four-year-old lost a shoe on his first run since leaving the Sir Michael Stoute yard but bounced back to finish a close second in a similar race at Wetherby last month and there should be more to come. Warrior Prince has potential, but ran poorly on his handicap debut, while Lopito de Vega and Saxo Jack have shown little in recent outings. Cornborough was staying on well at Chester last time and can make the frame at this more conventional track.
