Jumira Prince couldn’t follow up his Nottingham win over course and distance last time, so NATAJACK could be the one to be on here. He showed plenty of spirit to win a tough race at Carlisle and hasn’t been punished by the handicapper for that success. Whatsthemessage has run well in his last two outings although has as a tendency to run too freely early on. Thornton hasn’t shown much in two races since leaving the Richard Hannon yard, and the disappointing Mac O’polo is best watched on his handicap debut, while Fastar has been gelded after a couple of poor runs this season and Wigan Warrior struggled badly over course and distance last time. Spirit Of Belle showed some improvement at Thirsk and is an interesting each-way prospect, as is Nottingham maiden winner Best Of My Love.
