Verdict

A wide open contest gets proceedings under way and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Easter Present, Mighty Man, Jacks Craic and Complete Outsider and the vote is given to Mighty Man. The selection won his only start to date in a bumper when defeating Iris's Prince. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. The highly regarded Easter Present rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Sesame Rambler but the drop in trip is not sure to suit and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion.Jacks Craic is another worthy of respect as he won well last time out when defeating Lord Lington but he has a penalty for that win and for that reason he is opposed. Complete Outsider was a fair second behind Almah last time out and is another with place claims but the drop in trip looks against him. Of the remainder Stage Friendly is from a yard in form and is worth a cautionary look in the market but for the winner we return to the unexposed Mighty Man.
