In depth

Verdict

Be My Dream has proved a model of consistency having won three and placed six times from his last nine starts. The eight-year-old stays well as he showed when landing a useful novice at Uttoxeter last summer when the ground was against him and will prove even more effective on this quicker surface. Macgeorge is the class act but has been well below his best of late and can't be backed with confidence while Storm Of Gold has clearly had his training problems and is best watched on his comeback. Gill'Mar was an inconsistent type over regulation fences but comes here in good form between the flags and has to be respected while Jemaro will be sharper for a recent return in the point-to-point field and is another to consider.
