Wages has been in decent form in similar grade of late and, despite his rise in the weights, may just be able to make his fitness tell over the reappearing Terrible Tenant, who is preferred to Nuit Sombre. The last mentioned has slipped to a fair mark now but has given little sign for real encouragement of late so may be best watched at present. The Venetia Williams-trained Jarro may need another run to put him spot on, while Goldbrook needs to improve on recent form to trouble the judge. A market move for the reappearing Bollitree Bob may be of interest although a bigger threat may come from Terrible Tenant, although he has a career high mark to defy on his return. There are no problems regarding the fitness of Wages though and he looks the logical choice.
