Verdict

SIGNALMAN twice ran well over fences here last season and, if able to get anywhere near his best form over hurdles, should land this with the minimum of fuss as the opposition is a far from inspiring. Nelson Du Ronceray is the one most likely to profit should James Ewart's grey fail to deliver as he was second over fences at Perth eight days ago with Realignment and Hoar Frost probably best of the rest, though the former appears to be going backwards and the latter returns from a break.
