Verdict

The market is usually revealing in these heats and we'd expect nothing else this afternoon. As things stand, our short-list reads: Kinnaird Park, Run Forest Run and Dallas Bell. Kinnaird Park, the selection, finished in front of Sam Patch and Miss Teeny Bash in a Perth bumper last time and holds Run Forest Run on a line through Time To Panic who finished fourth in that contest. He just about sets the standard on form and has done nothing wrong. Dallas Bell was backed into favouritism last time but he weakened very quickly having taken a strong hold and finished well beaten. That was the first time that he has raced on fast ground and he has a bit to prove now. Sharevar has been off the course for a while but is of interest as are newcomers Bucks Ploy and Diklers Oscar whilst support for Posh Bird, who has had a couple of runs in Irish points and is due to be Tom O'Brien's only ride on the card, would look highly significant. Kinnaird Park sets the standard though and, as a consequence, gets the vote.
