Caesar's Palace has claims on the form shown at Ayr last week and has to be respected on that evidence but this may come too soon and preference is for Political Cruise, who gets the vote ahead of Zaffie Parson and Justwhateverulike. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of these but he needs to improve to trouble the judge so is probably best left out of calculations. Westmorland is closely matched with the selection on form here in December but has given little sign of encouragement since then, while Needwood Spirit is probably a shade high in the weights at present. Zaffie Parson is inconsistent but has solid claims on the pick of his form and cannot be discounted although preference is for the potentially well treated Political Cruise.
