In depth

Verdict

Bishop's Bridge gets the confident vote with Marlborough Sound, and Mooramana rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Leopold and although he has a penalty for that win he is taken to win again before going on to better things. Marlborough sound rates the main danger as he showed plenty of ability in bumpers notably when fourth behind Dar Ben last time out. He is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and he should be noted in the market. Mooramana is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Portavadie but although he travels well in his races he finds less than expected off the bridle and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Gaelic Jig and Kalic D'Alm have shown glimpses of ability and would have place claims on their best form but they are far from consistent and can not be put forward with any confidence and for the winner we return to Bishop's Bridge .
