In depth

Verdict

Accumulus is taken to get the better of Buster Hyvonen and Wotchalike. The selection has found it hard to get his head in front but he did win well last time at Hereford when beating Prince Vector and with that confidence booster under his belt he might be worth siding with again. Buster Hyvonen showed some fair form on the flat and this stiffer test of his stamina should bring about some improvement. He is sure to have been well-schooled for this his hurdling debut and if the selection fails to fire then he could be the one to profit. Wotchalike won well over hurdles last time and he looks the type who will certainly have a future in this sphere. However, he may do better over further in time and on this occasion we will pass him over. Cortinas is another interesting newcomer and is worth a look in the market but for the winner we will return to Accumulus.
