In depth

Verdict

Pearl King is preferred to Nesnaas with Bonchester Bridge the other likely danger. The selection is a course and distance winner and he ran well when a close second behind Nesnaas last time. He should reverse the placings with that rival on these revised terms and with the yard still in good form he gets our nomination. Nesnaas will not be far away at the finish and is the most likely to chase him home, while Bonchester Bridge has plenty to prove but she is from a top yard and should not be written off. Sea The Light is worth a look in the market on his seasonal reappearance although he may be better with some cut in the ground and we will return to Pearl King who is put forward as the selection.
