This is just the type of race in which veteran PHARE ISLE is liable to pop up. He is 7lb lower than when successful over course and distance two years ago and regular rider Max Kendrick takes off another 7lb. Giveitachance has also been successful over track and trip in the past while Peal Of Bells will be looking to add to his Taunton victory in December having only been raised the almost statutory 7lb. Commanding Spirit may prove better than he’s shown so far now upped in trip.
